Kim

Hi, my name is Landon. I teach violin and viola, and piano. I am also passionate about singing and computer science. I’m excited to share my love for music and help others grow.

Biography

Landon Kim is an 18-year-old violinist who currently attends the University of Michigan on a music scholarship. Under the guidance of renowned violin professor Fabiola Kim, Landon’s dedication to the craft has yielded impressive results.

He has showcased his skills at the Great Composers Competition, the Sherer International Violin and Piano Competition, and the Vancouver International Music Competition, earning 1st, 3rd, and a Finalist spot respectively.

​

Landon has been an avid member of the Midwest Young Artists Conservatory for six years, participating in both chamber music and orchestra programs. During this time, he earned the Merit Scholarship for three years, served as concertmaster of the Concert Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra. As first violinist of the Lucien Quartet, he also advanced to the prestigious St. Paul String Quartet Competition.
